Hidden surveillance devices that are not currently operational can, at best, be detected only to a limited extent using standard TSCM detection equipment. Since such surveillance technology must nevertheless be detected, non-destructive material testing has become increasingly important. Our innovations have therefore always been the driving force behind the continuous optimization of the necessary quality. Over the decades, this has already led to groundbreaking developments in TSCM.

 

Some examples of our research and development projects from recent years are:

  • Development of measurement methods and software for automated RF differential spectrum analysis,
  • Basic research on active thermography inspection methods for TSCM applications,
  • Development of portable computer laminography systems for pseudo-3D TSCM X-ray imaging,
  • Basic research on terahertz scanners as suitability tests for TSCM,
  • Basic research using backscatter X-ray technology for TSCM applications,
  • Development of X-ray robots for large-scale building structure screenings,
  • Basic research in digital radiography with 20 µm resolution for TSCM,
  • Development and continuous optimization of a globally unique TSCM workflow app,
  • Practical eavesdropping tests with laser Doppler vibrometer for risk assessment and
  • Basic research with laser Doppler anemometers as an attack vector.
